Hop is currently in Ho Chi Minh City. This afternoon (very early in the morning for those of us in the USA) she will submit the documents required by the consulate to overcome the denial of her visa application. It is possible, though, I think, unlikely, that the consulate could issue the visa the same day, if the documents are sufficient to convince them that she is eligible.
Wish us luck...
Update: The consulate received her documents and told her to go home and wait for them to mail her a new interview date.
